This metal corset originates from the Symbiosis with Imbalances project. As one of the core pieces of the collection, it seamlessly integrates fashion design, digital modeling, and sculpture. Meticulously handcrafted, it represents the culmination of extensive time and effort.

Therefore, I have chosen to present it as an independent project.

The corset draws inspiration from spinal braces used to treat scoliosis. These devices are worn around the torso to slow down or prevent the progression of spinal curvature. Rigid braces apply corrective pressure at multiple points along the spine, while dynamic braces help retrain the body to maintain proper posture.

Building on this concept, I incorporated common skeletal structures observed in spinal examinations to explore their application in design. First, I referenced medical anatomical data to accurately reconstruct the human skeleton in 3D software and attached metal elements to it. I then simulated the skeletal form of scoliosis and adjusted the distorted bones to ensure the final model's wearability. The final design takes the form of a fully structured corset.
