Placebo, as my longest and most in-depth project, integrates computer science, fashion design, and digital modeling technology, aiming to explore the boundaries and possibilities between the virtual and the real. In Placebo-Physical, I utilize 3D printing technology to transform digital concepts into tangible physical works. Meanwhile, in Placebo-Digital, I present the entire digital design process and showcase the final outcome through digital film.

I seek to transcend the conventional definition of clothing, reimagining it as a dynamic sculptural space brimming with possibilities. Using voxels—the fundamental units of computer vision—as my medium, I transform these digital three-dimensional pixels into programmable textile modules. Through 4D printing technology, I breathe life into hard-magnetic soft composites, enabling each voxel to perform an elegant choreography under magnetic orchestration—where rigid materials acquire organic fluidity, and static garments awaken as kinetic art.

This is not merely a material transformation, but an artistic experiment interrogating the very nature of form, space, and temporality. Here, clothing sheds its silent fabric existence to become a breathing, sentient construct—a living apparatus that engages in continuous dialogue with both wearer and environment, perpetually reconfiguring itself in this dynamic exchange.
